Hey there, I’m Laura and I’m here to support your healing process through the power of the mind/body connection.
While yoga is thought of mainly as stretching in the West, yoga is actually rooted in an ancient spiritual practice for reducing mental suffering. At the same time, clinical research shows how yoga impacts the nervous system to reduce stress, improve sleep, support the endocrine and immune systems, among many other benefits, while connecting oneself to a sense of purpose. All of these benefits help to strengthen mental health and resilience.
I have been practicing yoga since 2008, and teaching since 2012, in private, studio, corporate, university, and clinical settings. I have over 1,000 hours of training and a Masters of Science in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health.
