About.

Hey there, I’m Laura.
I’m here to support your process of healing with the power of the mind/body connection.

Through my own experiences of depression, anxiety, and burnout, the tools of yoga have continuously helped me nourish my mental health, while offering insight into living a life aligned with my truth.

Yoga, as is life, is a process: a living, breathing tradition of svadyaya, or self-study.

Yoga is mainly thought of as stretching in the West, when actually, it is rooted in an ancient spiritual tradition for reducing suffering. Clinical research shows how yoga impacts the nervous system to reduce stress, improve sleep, balance the endocrine system, and boost the immune system, while connecting oneself to a sense of purpose.

All of these benefits help to strengthen mental health and resilience.

I have been studying and practicing yoga since 2008, and teaching since 2012, in private, studio, corporate, university, and clinical settings. I have a Master’s of Science in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health and am certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Let’s work together to empower your health and healing (physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual) so you can live your life with greater self-awareness and self-care.
